Founded in 2015 through the merger of several Mexican companies—Duero Ingeniería S.A. de C.V., Dusgem S.A. de C.V.—and foreign companies—Duero Latina S.A. (Panamanian) and Dueroing S.A. (Ecuadorian)—our group was established with the goal of combining efforts and expanding our service offerings, primarily in Latin American markets. Our objective is to undertake large-scale electromechanical assembly projects in areas such as hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants, pumping stations, transmission lines, and electromechanical installations in metro systems, while also enhancing the technical and economic capabilities of our group.
With over 40 years of continuous experience in constructing electromechanical works for major hydroelectric plants in Mexico, as well as in Central and South America, our management and technical staff have consistently incorporated new technologies and cutting-edge resources into our procedures. This experience has proven our ability to successfully tackle and resolve the most complex challenges in the assembly of generation projects we are currently developing.
The management and technical staff of Grupo Duero Ingeniería have been directly and actively involved in the assembly and installation of generation and transmission projects across various hydroelectric plants. Their expertise includes the electromechanical assembly of turbines, generators, diversion gates, spillway gates, intake gates, and auxiliary services, all the way through to the commissioning stage. They have also participated in numerous projects involving the installation of standard substations, SF6 substations, and various transmission line projects.
With a firm commitment to service, fulfillment, and quality, Grupo Duero has actively contributed to the increase of installed capacity in hydroelectric plants, producing clean energy and supporting the Mexican electric system, among other contributions. The company participates in contracted projects within the electric sector across the Mexican Republic, working under the 'Turnkey' modality through the Federal Electricity Commission.
Grupo Duero is emerging as one of the most important groups in the electromechanical installation of hydroelectric plants, with significant participation in projects of this nature in Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Honduras, and Bolivia.
