Water Infrastructure

Water engineering and infrastructure: conveyance, pumping and sanitation, together with the supply, installation and rehabilitation of hydromechanical equipment for dams and locks.

Scope

System engineering

  • Conceptual, basic and detailed engineering
  • Aqueducts, intake works and conveyance lines
  • Pumping stations, treatment and sanitation
  • Hydraulic modelling and transient analysis

Equipment and implementation

  • Supply, installation and rehabilitation of gates and bulkheads
  • Operating mechanisms, valves and pressure pipelines
  • Interface coordination and technical support on site
  • Equipment testing within the contracted scope

Equipment and systems

Pumping and conveyance

Move water between intake, storage and delivery points; El Cuchillo II documents five pumping plants and an 84-inch conveyance line.

Gates and hydraulic power units

Control and actuate water passage in dams and locks, as in the Panama Canal and La Yesca scopes.

Intake works and bottom outlet

Allow water intake and discharge; El Zapotillo documents rehabilitation, pipelines and associated components.

Hydromechanical equipment work does not constitute a comprehensive dam safety assessment or certification. Each project entry defines its contracted scope.
